Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that affects millions of people worldwide. As the most common cause of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease gradually destroys brain cells, leading to difficulties in thinking, reasoning, and performing everyday tasks.

In its early stages, Alzheimer’s may present as mild forgetfulness or confusion, often mistaken for normal aging. As the disease progresses, symptoms worsen, including severe memory loss, disorientation, mood swings, and difficulties in communication. Advanced stages of Alzheimer’s can lead to a complete dependence on caregivers. Currently, there is no cure for Alzheimer’s, but treatments and interventions can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
