Asthma

Asthma is a common chronic respiratory condition affecting millions of Americans, characterized by inflammation and narrowing of the airways, leading to difficulty breathing, wheezing, chest tightness, and coughing. Asthma can significantly impact daily life and overall well-being.

In its early stages, asthma may manifest as occasional shortness of breath or mild wheezing, often triggered by allergens, exercise, or respiratory infections. As the condition progresses, symptoms can become more frequent and severe, interfering with regular activities and sleep. While there is no cure, current treatments, including medication and lifestyle changes, can help manage symptoms and improve the quality of life for asthma sufferers.

We at Epic Medical Research conduct clinical trials for investigative medications for the treatment of asthma. Qualified research participants will receive financial compensation for their time and travel, study-related medical and psychological evaluations by our doctors, and the investigative study medication at no cost.
